Hi All
I’m a new member here. I have a 2019 JL MOAB - so awesome! My question is does anyone know of an aftermarket solution to add a side step to the stock rock rails?
Thanks.

Technically it already has a side step, so you wont find anything to add another one. Sounds like a good MacGyver moment.

You can add these from Ace Engineering. You do lose a little clearance, but it works WITH the Moab rock rails.

Have you tried these out to verify they work?
ACE shows them being used with the Rubicon rails, not the MOAB version.

My wife is leaning towards Rock Slide Engineering so haven't committed to these. Check the Moab thread or call Nick @ACE Engineering to confirm, but pretty sure there are a few examples of the Moab working.

I was hoping to keep the OEM rail on the Jeep and just bolt on a step. Sort of like the “hide a step” from M.O.R.E.

There isn't anything aftermarket that will do what you want. There is the DIY route, but engineering for what you want will be a challenge and lots to think through.

Permanent or temporary
Security if temporary
Height of first step (or drop depending on how you look at the problem)
and many many more

Sorry, our Rock Sliders do not work with Moab Rails. Just Rubi Rails.

Thank you,
