Does anyone with a manual get a shutter when they shut it off? Dealership says it’s “normal for the manual.” By shutter, I mean it visibly shakes when I shut it off. It’s a 24 and it’s done since new. Additionally, what could cause it? Thanks!

Mine makes the rattle noise of a dual mass flywheel when shut off if that’s what you’re referring to.

My 2025 doesn’t do it. But my 2018 civic si did. I changed out the rear motor mount to aluminum with stiffer race bushings and it went away.

It just started making that rattle, but the shaking can be felt and seen when I shut since new.

Are you saying when the engine is shut off or when you are starting off in 1st gear?

I've been driving my manual for 7 years, this is not normal. I suspect your dealer is giving you their standard answer for whenever anyone complains about a Wrangler. Take someone for a ride and see what they say after that.

It’d help if you could post a video, but from what you’ve described — no. I’d say the dealer is blowing smoke and try a different dealer.
