2.5” lift 17x9 37’s
I second this choice. I did the 2" Dynatrac lift with fox shocks and love the ride with 37" tires. On the sport or Sahara you can fit 35's

I would do a 2.5" lift with 35's on 17" wheels for a daily driver Sahara.

33s will look very small with a 2.5” lift. 35s all the way. If you plan on wheelin do not install 22” wheels. You need the rubber to wrap over rocks and obstacles when you air down. Plus you’ll scuff up your rims. Lastly large wheels weigh way more than large tires so you will compromise street performance (acceleration/braking). For off road functionality I won’t go over 17” but you could push it to 18” or 19”. Jeeps look way better with lots of rubber vs lots of bling.

Thanks for the input iv been on YouTube and seems like a lot of people run 20’s I think I’ll explore the 18/19 option with 35’s any suggestions on wheel brand?

That’s a whole other can of worms and there are many discussion threads here regarding opinions on tires. I’m currently running 35” BFG KM2 tires that I moved over from my JKUR when I traded it in. I like the look and they perform awesome off-road. When they wear down I plan to get BFG KM3s which are supposed to be a little quieter on the road. I like a good mud tire but they are noisey and produce vibration at high speeds. Others prefer a more in between A/T tire with better road manners which are not nearly as good off road in wet confitions. Many here seem to also like Cooper MXTs (Mud) and BFG KOs (AT).

Follow up I misread your comment thinking you said tires when you said wheels. Obviously I like KMC XD wheels which provide good look as well as fiction and quality. Don’t have experience with others. AEV wheels are probably one of the best off road specific wheels but I’m not into the style. I like the idea of real bead locks (mine are Not even though they have the bead lock look). But bead locks are expensive and Labor intensive.

Not my cup of tea. However, it’s your build and monies. Do whatever pleases you at the end of the day . . . No regrets.
