Just show us the car already! :computerrage:
What do you want to see? We've already seen photos of the exterior and interior, with no camo. Granted, they're relatively low-res images from a PDF, but there's really not a lot left to the imagination at this point.

Well, the JT's towing capacity is right where I thought it'd be (at or just better than the Taco).

I'm disappointed to see that they didn't do anything to improve the capacity of the JLU over the JKU though. Seems like a missed opportunity. The 4Runner is the JLU's closest competition, and it's got a 5K towing rating and a few hundred pounds greater payload capacity.

Do we know whether or not the JT will be offered with a manual transmission? If so, with which engines?

So the 2dr tow rating is increased to the same rating as the 4dr??? And no increase for the 4dr. That really pisses me off!
The leaked owners manual lists 2,000 lbs for the 2 door (page 351) whether right or wrong.

It would be pretty cool if they drove one of the mules around with no roof or doors

The only engine with a manual in the JL is the 3.6L, so if the JT is offered with a stick, I expect it'd only be with the 3.6L.

A few more other points gleaned from these pages:
  • 3.0L diesel again confirmed
  • Diesel will only be available with the 4-door JLU Wrangler and Jeep Scrambler Pickup
  • Jeep Scrambler (JT) Pickup will only be available in 4-door model
  • Jeep Scrambler (JT) Pickup will be available with 3.6L Pentastar and 3.0L diesel (not 2.0L turbo)
  • Jeep Scrambler (JT) Pickup will be available in base and premium models
Hell, I'm only hoping for a JT Rubicon. V6 or Diesel, auto or stick.

no manual for the pickup = no sale to me!!!! no slush boxes or houses with more than 2 doors in my garage, thats how i roll. i would think a manual with anything with forced induction should be a given. rpm's = boost more boost more power!!!

Proves that the engine has nothing to do with the towing capacity on the JLU.
Yeah, I couldn't help but chuckle a little inside at the people who were convinced that the diesel was going to be rated for double the towing capacity.

Well the diesel is as expected, but I was kind of hoping for around 7,000 to out do the Tacoma but a decent amount. Also payload is bit of a let down. The Tacoma is 1,120 to 1,620 lbs by comparison.

Anyone have any ideas on the Base vs Premium? As how dose that work with the Sport vs Sahara vs Rubicon?

Also with the diesel removing payload and keeping the same tow capacity, whats going to be the selling point for JLU buyers? Fuel econ? Maybe drivability?

Hell, with the beefier axles, better transmission, wider stance and longer, I was hoping for 5,000lb tow rating.

I'm surprised and disappointed with the modest weight reduction. Looks like the 8spd auto will be the biggest improvement but not worth $2,500.

Yeah, I think I remember seeing that around here a few times before...
