If I use a pressure washing and blast up on the end of it on the fronts, it comes out... I simply use a down angle when pressure washing to solve that. This is the only issue I've had, and easy fix. Works great had in on for a month... held up great mudding, nothing stuck between the fenders after my wash.

Use plastic trim tool or similar to install (FYI) You'll be happy with it

I'll stick with my original plan - when the time comes; my G.C. doesn't have "gaps," ha ! But, the original plan calls for strait silicone type of RTV (comes in a tube you use with a "gun" and then run a wet finger ( finger size of choice !) down the entire fender - better yet have two people ! One to apply the bead and You to "finger it" just the way you want ! (no pun intended). I've made thee suggestion to my Apt. Maintenance mgr. for his brand new 2 door JL Sport/rag top ! I'm trying to get him to buy "worthy tires ," but money is an issue ! Yea the RTV thing is simpler and can be reapplied/ replaced without needing to mess with the screws attachment points for the fenders ! Hmm, probably other areas it can be used too . . . let's see ? time to go "think" . . . :ontheloo: .

No need for a fix. Just press down on fender with medium pressure which opens the gap and spray with hose nozzle. Everything washes out.

It is a waste of $$$ it does not stay seated.
Agree...I am constantly pushing it back In place.

I am now looking to convert my fender clips to 1/4 turn fastners.

Is there a way to extend the fenders out maybe 1/4 to 1/2" and then I think the problem goes away because most of the smaller debris would just fall through?

I wanted to check back to see how the Trim Lock .276" is holding up? Is it staying put? Getting ready to try it if the reports are good. Thanks!
I've never had to replace any of the Trim-Lok...it's still holding strong. After long drives I'll tuck it in with a plastic trim tool & I remove it about twice a year to clean, but it's really not necessary. It's an OCD thing.
