I would like to ask about the install a switch to shut off the ESP / Traction Control "Kill Switch" and ABS for the JL I want to disconnect it completely via an independent external button traction control ...

Does anyone try to put an external switch Traction Control ..

Better then a switch..... Read through the features listed in the attached instructions. Programming with a Tazer JL may be in your future after you read the instructions.

Many across the world use the Tazer JL.

There are already buttons on the dash to disable each.

Which switch? Traction control is completely disabled with a long press, or when in 4lo. ESS is disabled with a single press. You can’t disable BLD, or (I believe) vectoring.

Is that based on experience or from the manual ? In my experience, (without putting the jeep in 4-Lo) there is no way to disable the systems fully in 4-Hi.

Well when we do dunes we dont really do 4hi which is why I am looking to switch it off completely. And from my research, even the holding of the button only switches it off partially.

Off Road+ button and long press definitely kill it. It allows you to use your rear locker in 4wd hi.
