Just ordered my Punk'n Rubicon last week and was told that with the Dual Top option, I will automatically receive a storage bag for the soft top windows. Worth adding to the list since I thought I was going to have to buy it.

I would double check that because on the Jeep build site, even with the dual top option checked, the soft top window bag is an add on for $75. Dealers are not always correct in what they tell you when they are trying to sell a Jeep.....just saying.

Yes, I think he may have misspoke or thought I was referring to the Freedom Panel bag. I've confirmed with others that it is not included.

Question - does the spare come with a wheel lug lock as standard non-dealer installed item? Maybe it used to, and now doesn't. I read through a number of posts here regarding the single wheel lug lock (and keyed socket) on the spare, thus make sure to get the key at delivery. It seems that came standard a few months ago, but just as with some other changes is no longer the case. I don't see it on my build sheet, but then again I don't know if that was ever listed. What's the word, standard spare lock or no?

Mine did not, and neither did many others in the lot. So I’m going with no on that one

Yes, the checklist worked good. I got to see our Wrangler as it came off the truck, many items were all packaged together in a large bag, but all were there, even the little baggie of shrink tubing and electrical ends for connecting to the accessory switch wiring. I did check to see if happened to have the block heater cord just in case it slid through before that was removed from the cold weather group, but that was not the case. Was part of group when ordered, yet cut somewhere during the wait. Oh well, didn't really need the block heater, added cold weather package because we wanted the heated seats and steering wheel.

Mine was delivered with the horn inoperable (wiring severed inside steering wheel assembly), and missing the fender flare protective plastic on one side (or the dealer removed one against my wishes, not sure).

Does anyone have pictures or details about the wire splice. My dealer said they don't come with. At dealer right now.

Its a little white bag with maybe 8 pieces of shrink tubing and a few metal v's to help with wire splicing. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it since I used marine crimp connectors to install things to my AUX switches. I'd say the bag that came with the shrink tubing and splices cost about 45 cents

Perfect that's what I needed to know. The biggest thing missing from delivery check list is the hard top but I would rather have a Jeep with a delayed soft top then no Jeep and no soft top

Any point in requesting to check for bad welds or rust if I have no idea what I'm looking for?

The issues/recalls thread is making me paranoid.

Figured it may be a good idea to isolate a single thread to find information on what should be coming with your new JL, as I’m sure some folks have gotten shafted already and not received all the little extras upon delivery. Not everyone knows that info, so here’s what I have gathered thus far (feel free to chime in and I’ll edit if I’m missing items):

1. Two sets of keys
2. Jeep mini ratchet set/Torx (for hardtop/windshield/doors)
3. Lugnut key (if you have locking lugs)
4. Freedom top storage bag (if equipped)
5. Carpet floor mats standard (but not if all season mats are equipped)
6. JL Wrangler Owners Manual/Warranty guide (may just be in your Jeep’s infotainment system only). Not 100%, but can be printed if requested directly through Jeep.
7. Jeep hitch receiver rubber insert (if trailer towing group is equipped)
8. Towing Pkg only: small baggie with tubing and splices.
9. Rubicon only: MOPAR Black Fuel Filler Door
10. Cold Weather Group option, you need to be sure you get the removable cord that is part of the block heater kit (and look under your hood for it if not in a separate bag)
11. Rear Cargo cubby rubber mat (on 4 door)
12. Rubber mats inside your center console
13. Velcro straps if you have a sun rider top

Also, ensure you get registered for the “Jeep Wave Program” because your new JL will receive complimentary maintainence for a period of time.

CONFIRMED NOT INCLUDED:
Windshield tie downs

What am I missing?
Mine comes with no Rear Cargo cubby rubber mat. Are you sure all 4 doors must come with it?
