The dealer tried to make me pay for a fad actuator, but the service manager approved when I argued we didn’t touch it. But they said the power train warranty is gonzo
A lift has nothing to do with the power train. Really what you have is the equivalent of a Moab.
They can say all kinds of things, and refuse to cover stuff, but the law says they have to show that the modifications could reasonably have caused the problem.
The Jeep looks great.

If i understand you, you can look at photos of the 2020 jl rubicon recon which comes stock with ½ “ lift and 33’s.
Rubicons are higher off the lot than Saharas and Sports because they have more substantial suspension. The Rubicon high profile fenders also help with additional clearance. And, yes... They do come with 33” tires over 17” wheels, whereas the other trim packages often have 31” tires over 16” wheels.

No 16 inch wheels on the JL. Can’t clear the brakes.

I do stand corrected. However, Rubicons do come higher with a different suspension.
You are giving out some misinformation however. Rubicons come with 285/70/17 KO2s on 17 wheels and they measure out to 32.8” nominal.
Saharas come with 255/70/18 GY Adventure ATs on 18 wheels and measure out to 32.1” nominal. Sport comes with variants of the 245/75/17 HT on 17 wheels which measures out to 31.5” nominal.

Rubicon suspensions are about 0.75” higher than Sahara and around 1”-1.25” higher than Sport/Sport S. [Ground clearance: Rubicon(11.8”) Sahara (11”), Sport (10.8”)]

Both Rubicon and Sahara has bigger rotors so the smallest wheel you can fit over it is 17”. Sport you can fit a 16” wheel due to their smaller rotors.

Does anybody know what the lug nut torque specs are for a vision nemesis wheel? I plan to mount a 38" tire on a 17x9 wheel on a 2020 jlu. I will be using spline lug nuts.
Thanks,
Jose

130 was the number I kept finding when I pit my wheels and tires on. Seems that number is what is recommended for any aftermarket wheel.

33"" with 1.5" offset and rubbing in back. Need a lift or no offset.

love the stance of your jeep. Those are 33's? They look bigger than that. Can you share the specifcs on wheel/tire? I am back and forth on going 33 or 35s and keeping the lift to a minimum (if not zero) on my sahara. Would love other pics too if you have it. Thanks in Advance!

Hi, yes they are 33".
Milestar Patagonia M/T.
Wheels are Mickey Thompson M/T metal with about 1.5" offset.

So the fact that fenders on JL are (sorry my english, not sure who to say this) bent down alot, tires seems larger with this offset.

I went on trails not lifted and i am rubbing alot on rear fenders... One of them popped out!

Seeing those pics makes me just want to go with 33 instead and skip the 35s and small lift.

Also depends in which brand. Patagonia 33, are about 32.3" for real.
BFGoodrich 33 are about 31.9".
Also makes a difference.

If you have Rubicon, you already have more clearance. I am thinking of changing to Rubicon fenders before a lift. Not sure yet!
