JL 2.0T Pistons?

Recently, I bought a used 2018 Jeep JL 2.0T Rubicon with about 30000 miles. In South Korea

Heard some tapping noise, even warm
Replaced some valves, However, the Engine Still makes bad noise.
So I take it to my buddy's shop, he said looks like a piston slapping take out sparkplug and insert micro cam for diagnosis
and it was right. piston slammed into cylinder wall making terrible noise

Now this is real problem. Jeep sells only a whole engine. No Cylinder head, block, conrod piston nothing. just gotta buy a whole engine
it sucks, even couldn't find used parts.

only pistons left, and I cant find it in any parts catalog, how i get those pistons?

Contact Fiat. They use that engine in some of their cars.

If you had a piston take out a spark plug, you’ve got more problems than just bad pistons/rings. Especially if you’ve already replaced valves. That damage means the motor likely spit out rod bearings. You might just wanna get a new long block assembly since you’ve mentioned head damage.

I think he means took the plug out to borescope the cylinders

Luckily, head is clean. and did honing the short block
