The 3.5 springs I got were the letters “ss” plus four digits. Can be seen here if you zoom in.

I was measuring to bottom of fender to get 45, but that still only puts me 2” taller and most of that would be tire.

So you have the MC 3.5" lift on 37s and post lift, you measure 45" from ground to bottom of fender (center)?

Good to know as I'm still considering lift/wheel and tire setup for my Rubicon. You running the true dual or game changer?

One note, MC uses a isolator set for the 4xe with the standard springs, I am significantly heavier.

That’s what I’m looking for. I’ll need to pull a front wheel and get numbers off of mine. Can’t quite see them. Should be able to see the rears just fine. At this point having double and triple checked everything else, I really hope my numbers match yours. I’ll be at a complete loss if not.

Hopefully Metalcloak will get back to me soon. I called yesterday at 4:00 and they were closed. I’m assuming today, and possibly tomorrow as well.

Edited to add pics:

That's crazy you got so much more than 2.5" if it's in fact a 2.5" lift for a Rubicon...

The numbers seem to say it’s correct. If it is in fact correct, I hope Metalcloak will take it back with no fuss. 4+ inches isn’t gonna work for me. It’s already irritating to know that I need to invest another day to either swap springs (if that will drop the overall lift) or put all the stock stuff back.

True Dual. I keep hoping I screwed up somehow, but considering I’ve been making a living as an auto tech for over 30 years and that all four corners went up within a 1/4” of each other, it’s not likely.

No, I'd say you're correct! I was looking at the exact lift and plan to go 37s but if you get 4" out of it on a Rubicon, I'll likely pass. You running 35s? Got any pics?

33’s at the moment. I plan on 35’s once I finish wearing out the current tires. Probably 3-4 months. It might be okay with 35’s as it is now, but 37’s would probably be better. But that puts me into maybe a re-gear which I have zero interest in doing. And that’s besides the fact that the wife would flip her lid trying to get in and out.

Even more wow! You're 45" from the ground and on 33s!? Holy moly! You add 35s or even 37s ama she's only going up!😳

I've attached some pics describing lift and tire setups I've collected over the past couple months. My thought is regarding a Rubicon is, 35s with 2" lift and 37s with 2.5" or greater. As for regearing, I believe it comes down to personal preference as the JLs handle 37s well. Typically only miss 8th when on the highway running 70+.

Keep us posted on what MC says ...

Holy cow, that looks like a fat guy on stilts. Looks more like a 4", which would make sense with the numbers you posted earlier. Just for reference this is a picture of mine on stock tires and wheels after a 2"lift.

What's your measurement forom ground to bottom of fender with this 2" lift? Also, what kit you running?

I tried to find a picture of when I finished the lift and measured, but of course I can't find it. I installed the Daystar spacer kit, with the longer lower control arms and the Fox shocks from the Mopar lift. Because it's a spacer it will be exactly 2" of lift exactly. And with the factory springs and Fox Shocks it rides great. It just doesn't flex as well as others. This is right after the lift.

And this is how it sits now with the fender chop and some too large 38s.
