Anyone have pic of a JK Rubi axle next to a JL Rubi so we can compare apples to apples?. 30 spline JK is a base axle. Rubi is totally different and stronger.

I just went through some confusion with ARB on my axles when ordering lockers and I believe that there is actually a difference in the two M220 variants in the JL. The M220 rear offered in the Rubi is 35 spline and the M220 option in the Sport/Sahara is 32 spline. I can also confirm that on the sport the shafts are different lengths.

This 32 spline shaft came out of a Rubi m220

I must be mistaken then. When I was going through locker selection with ARB, they had three separate rear lockers for the JL. RD244 was listed for M200, RD245 for the Sport/Sahara M220 option and the RD246 that is listed for front/rear rubi M210/M220. For some reason I was thinking the 246 was listed as 35 spline and 245 as 32 spline, but I must be misremembering. Sorry for any misinformation. I can say for sure that my RD245 is 32 spline and I have a sport M220 option.

I did read something about someone finding 35 spline components that were available but there were no axle shaft options to match them. Seems odd to me that aftermarket shafts are taking so long to hit the market.

I.e. this photo is misleading. I’m glad someone else caught it too.

Unless I am mistaken the shop owner who did my swap said the jl shafts are in fact equal length. I went ahead and replaced the twisted one, and as soon as chromos show up I’ll swap them out and keep these as spares.
I dont think so I recall reading they arent plus if they were of equal size my part numbers would be the same and they arent,

Also I should add that this is the JL shaft used in the photo. They're are not bulletproof. Lol

Did you have a chance to measure the diameter of the shaft? Is this front axle shaft (I assume)?

M210/M220 JL and JK Rubi 32 spline are the same diameter at 1.41". The common JK 30 spline is 1.31" and the M200 JL 29 spline rear is 1.24". JL/JT rear shafts (non-Rubicon) are equal length on each side. Rubi JL and JT shafts are unequal. Max Tow JT shafts can be used in a JL or JT Rubi housing if you want to go to an Air Locker.
