We have a '15 JK 2dr Sport S that has a full Teraflex Lift, Old Man Emu shocks, JKS adjustable track bars and 35" E-range tires on 17" wheels. 4.88 gears with Tru-tracks front and rear. It is a very capable crawler and looks great. However the off road ride is very rough for us. I want to sell it and get a JL 2dr Willys or Rubicon but we need a much smoother ride. Trying to find a two door Rubicon or Willys to test drive is hard and no dealer s going to let me take it off road.
We keep our JK at a vacation place in Montana that is nine miles off the highway. For comparison we have a Kia Telluride and it rides like a Cadillac off road compared to our JK. What can I expect from a stock JL 2dr Rubicon or Willys? I don't intend to change the suspension, tires or wheels if we get one.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
