My best friend (Dad) and I got to work the next day installing all the toys I had stashed.


First of course was the traditional antenna delete and installation of the stubby

Next, we had to get some steps for Mini-Me, as we quickly realized we are both vertically challenged.

I appreciate the stock look and did not want to sacrifice the protection of the body, therefore, I elected to install the Mopar Performance Rock Rails. I got a killer deal on them from @Quadratec on a holiday sale. $650 shipped to my door

I appreciated how easy it was to install, literally took longer for my old @$$ to get under the Jeep and back out for the new parts than it did to install them.

The wife is not stoked about how little of an area there is to step... But oh well... Lol it's mine .

I love the look, however as many have said before they are definitely not worth $1,000. Even at $650... I question the value. However, it was what I wanted look-wise. And hey Jeep stands for Just Empty Every Pocket doesn't it?!?!

The next was the third brake light delete and add the @Quadratec brake light ring.

Super easy install... Literally pull the screws plug and play. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the need to waterproof the wiring. Since @Quadratec wants you to leave the "DOT approved" third brake like, they assume you will be running the wiring through the existing housing. So I utilized some waterproof electrical tape. I am going to find a better solution here soon, however, it was what I had available at the time. Open to any ideas... Haven't really researched a more permanent solution yet.

The final mod on the first day was Dad's project, and boy was it a doozy. The Tuffy center console security safe. Dad's a bigger guy than me, but I'm far from a big guy. Dad is super handy whereas I am far from it. What a PIA to install!!! Dad gave up . I ended up finally getting it done. You need a third hand and all three hands must be midget hands. Oh and midget tools!!!

However, this is one of my favorite mods, as it gives me some piece of mind if I want to leave my firearm or anything of value for a short period of time.

Come to find out... He tried to take shortcuts, like every man, without reading the directions. However, in his defense the directs suck the big one...

Later that night I got it installed with help from the wife as I was getting eaten alive by Florida mosquitoes.

Final thought: it is a great product with poor directions. I really appreciate that I can still utilize the usb jack and run the cord thought the side even with the safe locked. Again bought this from @Quadratec with the forum discount $149 with 10% off I believe.

Next was the EZ Trunk... I am going to post an indepth install and review, however, not tonight as this website makes me resize EVERY picture to post. So stay tuned as this is something I think more people should hear about! I'd love to hear feedback from people on my mods, and suggestions on a name for this beauty. Thanks again for following.

I say this in a very pro firearm sidearm sort of way, please don't leave a loaded weapon locked in there and expect it to not be tampered w in some way.

Plenty of firearm thefts around here in cars.

Anyway....sweet color, love the tan w the snazz....very clean looking combo.
