Jerry Cans - Extra Fuel

Hi..

I have a 2018 JL Sahara Limited and looking for an extra fuel solution...I have a 35" spare tire mounted on the rear and don't want to lose my backup camera...I have been looking at the RotopaX and love the clean look of the solution...but with the cans it is very expensive...

Anyone out there have any suggestions they would be willing to share?

I bought a bumper that has jerry can option. I personally don't like rotopax. For Jerry cans I also have Scepter water cans which I can take for trips in the desert where fuel is less of an issue and water is more of any issue.

Because I like to use a trasharoo and soon to mount my Maxtrax to my spare, I did not want the camera or plate in the spare and moved them up out of the way making a bracket. But that was done for the trasharoo. For what you're asking the standard LOD rear bumper w/ jerry cans would work well for you.

there is a company a friend uses on his JK that makes a Jerry can holder for the front fender between the door and fenders.

I have the the Roto-pax carrier from @Blu bi Kong , its the lightest, best looking, most cost-effective and unobtrusive way to carry an extra 3.5 Gallons that i've found. Its does not block your rear view camera either. Message Vic and he'll make you one for a very reasonable cost.
