Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
Made it down there on Sunday. Not a lot of vendors or display vehicles as this is usually driven by the local Jeep communities that bring in a couple thousand personal Jeeps and park them downtown on Saturday. With that said the crowds were small. Now on to some of the Jeeps that were on display.

I would like something like this

I liked the side vent and the hood vent on this JL. I also liked the flat fenders.

This was one of my favorites. It is on a JL drivetrain and has many of the JL interior components.

To each their own, but to me this is like building up a street rod out of a lame vehicle. Still kind of cool, but not what I would sink money into.

I liked the tube doors on this JLUR.

Kinda liked this. It was at the point of just a little over done.

When one Shit box is not enough, I give you the one and a half shit box. I don't know why, but, I do like an XJ for just all around toughness.

My wife ran the 4 mile race at the Jeep event. I thought it wa weird that it was not a 5k or a 10k or half marathon or what ever, but someone must have said, "skip that normal run distance and lets make it a 4 miler. The funny thing is she loves her retro Rancho hat and wears it all the time. So a pic in the Rancho both was in order.

Her T-Shirt says "Can't Talk Right Now, Doing Jeep Girl Shit." She is silly.

While the display in the Seagate center was much smaller, I would say that Saturday is the day to go. There were 1300+ jeeps in the parade, it sold out in April. The streets were packed with people watching. As for vendors, its never had a ton of them, so that's to be expected. All of the Jeeps in the parade were parked after in lots on the edge of town, which made it seem like there were not a ton of Jeeps in the main event area. Here is a pic of me in the parade, I am in the middle.

Nice! I was down there Sunday too. I was surprised there weren't more people but it sounded like Saturday was pretty busy. I'll definitely try to go on Saturday next year.

Great photos! I am a huge fan of the Kaiser J series trucks. I would love to have a J100 as a farm truck. Its just tough finding one with a solid frame here in NW Ohio. But I was totally drooling over these this weekend!

I know it’s no longer there but those interior shots and the mention of Toledo remind me of the old Sports Arena. Went to MANY car shows there when I was a kid.

Me and the family went down Saturday. Did the parade it was a really neat experience. The parade staging area was a blast! But I think next year I may just register for park n shine. Spent the majority of the rest of the day looking at vendors and jeeps parked all around down town. Definitely a good time!

Saturday was PACKED! Especially inside seagate just prior to parade. Really not as many vendors as in 2018-or so it seemed. Really surprising since it was 80th anniversary.

Parade awesome as always! If you’ve never been there for it should definitely try next year. Would be great to get group of forum members in it together.

A modern version of this is what the Gladiator should have been. It should be built on its own unique platform, have an 8’ bed so you can haul a sheet of plywood with the tailgate closed, and feature a modern version of that awesome grille/headlight setup.

Also… We Jeep folks don’t care if it cuts into Ram sales, we’d like a real, full-sized truck.

If you want crowds and the ability to see thousands of Jeeps, Saturday is the day to go. I have done the parade in the past. The staging area was my favorite place. It was like a huge Jeep show.
