Installed some more of the AAL M.A.S.S Cargo system. I still have a couple back orders but I'm thrilled to have the majority of it in.

How it sits for now.

I dropped a line into the tailgate while I had the interior apart to save the trouble of doing it later when the tailgate table arrives.

I was able to re-use the Christmas tree clips to hang my zip ties

I attached the fuse panel with 3M VHB tape. For now I'll leave everything long just in case it needs to be moved.

Used the same trick as the ham radio to mount the fridge power outlet. Just two small slits in the carpet to run the zip tie, and velcro on the back of the box to keep it from sliding.

Everything fit's like a glove.

The shelf is in it's highest position and the Dometic CFX3 45 is mounted with the adaptor "feet" available from AAL. It's a perfect fit.

I love how clean your rig is - nice work!! The slots in the carpet are genius. Should've used black zip ties though, you heathen! :CWL:

Thanks man!

Any port in a storm. My other option was lime green 🤣 they’ll get replaced eventually. I was trying to get everything together for a shakedown run in Arkansas this weekend

If you used green zip ties you would've had less work to do come time for Christmas decorating! 🎅

Just busting your balls, everything looks great.

Installed the Zautomotive Tazer JL Mini
- The light show feature works so much better with the LED lighting package
- My wife has been asking why the back up camera didn’t come on with the blinkers. She thought it was an OEM feature. It’s really nice when you’ve got the doors off and don’t mess with mirrors.
~
- This thing is a must if you have a rubi; the ability to run rear locker and sway bar disconnect in 2-high is pretty sweet.
These points are amazing. Does it void the warranty?

I’m sure it doesn’t help. I think they say “remove for dealer service”, but I had a Tazer on my last JL and left traction kill, ESS kill, and turn cam on for every dealer service. They even tried to order me new switches one time for the traction control and ESS. He was like “they were sticking so I ordered you new ones” I told him I programmed it out. They didn’t seem to care. I think it’s much less obvious than most “programmers” and even leaves the OBD-II port open, so most people don’t even realize it’s there. He probably thought it was just some hidden menu item in the Uconnect or something. If you brick your ECU it’ll likely come up. But they’re not gonna deny a broken sun visor because of it.

Your build is looking SO GOOD amigo👌🏻

Thanks Steven! It’s coming together, and finally staring to feel like home. Taking it out to Hot Springs OHV this weekend for a shakedown trip. I’ll be happy to hit first dirt. 😎

Strange noise from the front end. Gotta figure something out for the bump stop “tube”. It grabs the spring when flexing and sounds awful.

Oh my goodness. It looks awesome there. You caught me planning a trip to Big Bend Ranch SP as I am stuck, without either my new JLUR or the JKUR, dreaming at the computer. Interesting how the 3D geometry doesn't always work out as planned. You will find the right path–

I’m assuming this is separate from big bend NP? I’ve never heard of it. I’m lol have to contact metalcloak and see if they have a solution. Kind of annoying

Yes. Much larger, one of the largest state parks in the country, and great unmaintained 4x4 high clearance trails to awesome primitive campsites.

Oh, I see. I always assumed these were the same. That actually looks quite nice! I’ll add it to the bucket list 🤣

Debadged after washing today.

Use dental floss or fishing line to cut through the glue holding the letters on.

Using a 3M eraser wheel on a low speed drill remove the remaining glue. This step feels wrong, like it will damage the paint. Trust your equipment and keep moving, I’ve done this to a dozen vehicles without issue. This is how the pros do it, just make sure you don’t run the drill too fast or sit in one spot too long.

Clean up as much residue you can with the eraser wheel and then use cleaner wax to remove any little residue that’s left.

97A447A9-CB46-4A5C-93CE-08695CCB2934.jpeg

Allow wax to dry to a haze and wipe away. Easy as that, took about 15 minutes to do both sides.
