Always see the jeep people around where I live up early getting coffee before hitting trails, beech etc.

(There are 2 jeeps in the background at the local coffee shop)

It's always been true, but even more so since the pandemic when EVERYONE decided to buy campers/side-by-sides/kayaks/etc to social distance, the early we hit the trails the better. It detracts from enjoying the trails, woods, nature, and peace and quiet when you're sitting in a traffic jam 30 deep with 5 different a-holes trying to see whose stereo system is louder. Even though the Rubicon trail is only 3 hours from home and will always be one of my all time favorites it's the reason we rarely run it anymore. Even on non Jeep weekends it's the same. We tube on the river almost every weekend in the summer time, and although it's freezing early season we are always on the water by 8:30am. Why? The rafting tour company launches their 1st boats at 9am and boat loads of loud drunken dipshits ruin the solitude of our 5 hour peaceful and relaxing float. And yes we drink and sometimes get pretty drunk, but there's no reason to be yelling and disturbing the natural wonders. We see everything from hawks, heron, and vultures to beaver, turtles, deer, raccoons, and squirrels along the river. If bet they see almost none of it carrying on like they do. It's not that zero dark thirty is fun, it's just less peopley.
