It was just circumstances. We had a crazy high tide that choked the beach area and really concentrated everybody into a narrow strip. That plus booze, well, you know how that goes. No different than spring break at other beaches.

It was overrun by idiots. A lot of people say that they will not return next year. I canceled our plans on Friday evening when a friend who was there posted a live stream. It wasn't just Jeepers either, even though they are getting the brunt of the blame. It was about half Jeeps, and the rest was a mixture of trucks, side by sides, and cars. It was wild in past years, but if you got your kids out of there when the sun went down you would be okay. This year was a different story.
