I have had my Jeep Wrangler 2019 JL two weeks straight from the dealer ship (their demo Jeep)
We’ve had some bad rain recently and my passenger footwell is getting soaked, my car is parked downhill with a slight lean to the left which could explain just the passenger side being in UK - however it still shouldn’t be happening.
I’m booked in under warranty on the 30th July, until then is there any ideas what it could be? It’s a 2 door with 1400 miles on the clock, all seals are like new, no leaks on roof etc.

even a temp fix would be much appreciated as I don’t like knowing it’s damp under there!

TBH, that is a 100% warrantee issue so I would consider that not my problem. They'll find and fix it. The interior of the Jeep can handle being damp until then. If it's severe, both the driver and passenger floor has a drain plug than can be removed.

I had this happen on my 2019, but on the driver's side. Found my driver's side footwell completely soaked after a hard rain, and would get drops falling on my left arm while driving in the rain. Took the Jeep in twice to the dealership to have their "water specialist" take a look. First time he didn't find anything, and they gave it back to me. Issue persisted, I took videos of it and told them to keep it until they fix it. I apologize I forget the name of the piece, but it's the rubber section that seals between the door and the roof up near your head on the left (right for the passenger side). Anyway, there is a screw holding this piece in place, and the tape that was "sealing" the screw had come un done, allowing water to enter. They replaced the whole part and sealed up the hole better and I haven't had a leak since.

Welcome to the forum.

Is it a soft top or a hardtop? How do you know the top is not leaking?

If the top is indeed not leaking, then the water is getting in from the bottom. There are drain plugs under the carpeting on both front foot wells. Make sure the rubber grommets are in place.

Good luck.

It’s a hard top with the freedom panels, the only bit I can think it could be is the seal between the top of the door the roof and the a pillar, it seems to run water down, I just never seen it go internally.
Very frustrating and haven’t a clue how to try out under the carpets.

That’s great to know thank you, I have seen it gets a lot of water on the bit I think you’re talking about, then water runs down the a pillar part but I never see it get inside.
Could possibly be this!

The carpeting lifts right off. The drain plug is about 4-6 inches right in front of the seat.

If you have the slush mats, the drain hole is right underneath that oval hole in the floor mat.

Do you have door entry guards on it? If so which ones? If you have the Quadratecs then those are probably the culprit. Those definitely leave a gap for rain, water, exhaust, light, and any anything else to get in.

I do however they’re the flush to the floor ones not the ones that lip over, (genuine Mopar ones)
