Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door: Our Digital Preview!

We've digitally previewed the 4-Door JLU and JT Scrambler pickup for you previously and we now show you the 2-Door JL Wrangler! Our renderings are based on the most recent JL spy pics and preview both the Rubicon and Sport models.

While the JLU is expected to outsell the JL by a fair margin, nearly 35% of JLWF members will still be ordering the 2-Door, according to this forum poll.

Hopefully, the sport actually ends up looking that good.. although, I doubt it would come with that tire/glossy black roof though..

Though, its yet another rather major departure away from the 75 years of Jeep history, Jeep DNA, which in this case, is the flat hood (that can double as anything from a field map table, to an OR table).

The known/expected launch colors as of now are listed in our compiled info thread. Commando green is not currently listed, but we hope it (or another similar color) will become available at some point for the JL/JLU.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but I don't like the color match roof. I see quite a few of them out there, but to me, that color contrast is part of what makes a wrangler a wrangler.

If only they'd have a military green color...for a moment i thought this announcement was confirmation of commando green for next year.
