Not sure about flat landers but up here there zero comparison. The little terb eats the lunch of the V6.
Yep - it would not surprise me if the v6 has a slight edge on the turbo at sea level…at altitude there is no comparison however; the turbo is sooo much faster.

Comparing their smallest ICE version (meaning Ford has bigger motors not necessarily in a Bronco) to a hybrid with instant torque is like making a big deal that Michael Phelps beat a high schooler in the 100m freestyle. Completely pointless.

The 2.7 is in a Bronco that was delivered just a couple of days ago. Maybe the engine is not broken in enough to maximize its power. That said A 10 second 0-60 from a turbo V6 is seriously slow. My wife has this same engine in an AWD Edge…and it’s snappy at altitude.
They said somewhere else that they broke in the engine well over 1k miles.

I recently tried out a new payloader, because my old girl couldn't do a 1/4 mile in under 8 minutes. I had to send it back after it delivered a paltry 8 minutes and 27 seconds.

Hitachi is one of those weird Japanese corporations that make everything from heavy loaders to adult toys.

In all seriousness, they should stick to the dildos. A well laid out hydraulic system forms a connection between the operator and the cutting edge. That Hitachi was a real Helen Keller.

90% of the people who buy Broncos and Jeeps will likely never take them offroad, and when they do it's probably novice trails.

Most people can appreciate brisk acceleration and good fuel economy, when I was comparing vehicles those things mattered to me.
I have to agree. Just compare the number of posts on this forum in the "What did you do TO your Jeep" to "What did you do WITH your Jeep" threads.
