Re the hood switch, that would impact remote start but it should still start with the fob even if the hood is open.

Remote start does not involve the physical brake pedal sensor thus why it starts. Now why the brake boost leaks down I don't understand. I've never seen it happen with any other car to this degree.

Right but when I have the issue of not starting, it won't start remotely or with the fob. The only way to get it to start is push the brakes extremely hard and it will then fire up.
