on an unrelated side note, if my wife leaves a pink duck on a bad-ass jeep (obviously owned by a guy), will it just get thrown in the trash?..........
yes, for sure. We save all our pink pretty princess ducks specifically for the most compensating jacked up jeeps we see. It makes us smile, and that's the whole point.

I wave at pretty much every Jeep, and I don't look to see if they wave back, then I just assume everyone does.

Eh, I'm new to owning my own Jeep, but have had bikes for over 20 years. So I have been dealing with biker wave all that time. I always try to wave back if I see it in time. I don't always initiate a wave myself, but do sometimes. When I first got my Mustang, other Mustang drivers used to wave, but that hasn't been the norm for many years. I see these kind of threads about waving all the time on motorcycle forums. Sometimes, bikers can be snobs and not wave to alternate makes of bikes which I don't agree with.

I've already waved back to a few Jeeps, don't think I have initiated any Jeep waves yet.

Only thing I didnt wave at while riding was scooters, and thats mainly because they are used here to get around people losing their license due to DUIs. If it was a bad ass modded Ruckus it got a wave for sure tho.

Down here in Florida which must be the state with the most Jeeps.

I wave so this thread prompted me to wave and see if they wave back.

Here is the results from the past 2 weeks: About 20% return the wave and about 10% initiate the wave.

Why do most not wave? They are a bunch of old geezers (I am older than most of them). There are 2 cars everyone has wanted from their youth: Jeep and Corvette. I see a lot of Jeeps and more than a few Corvettes.

Was in Estes Park a few years ago, and most of the motorcycles there waved at me as I was driving a Jeep. Was a fun crossover, but I've not seen it anywhere else.

Been to Estes Park a handful of times on a couple of my Harleys. Will need to take the Jeep out there with my dual sport some time now. I do recall seeing a lot of Jeeps out there, and I lost count around 35 in a row right around Ouray.

Jeep wave pressure or modern day anxiety? Just relax. No one cares if you don’t wave.
