I almost tossed a MOPAR letter and it was my JEEP WAVE PREMIUM OWNER LOYALTY PROGRAM. I signed up. Hopefully the Hawaii dealer will do the free oil changes for the Jeep I bought on the mainland. Hopefully they won't recognize me. They wanted $60K for the JLR I got in Spokane for $43K.

Maui is in the US so they should honor the 3 oil changes that are a part of Jeep Wave. Also, if it came from the factory with synthetic they should use synthetic oil at no additional charge.

How much did it cost to ship over from the mainland, out of pure curiosity?

I’ve still got all 3 of my free oil changes a year after purchase, and I likely won’t ever cash them in. I’m sure the techs have figured out by now the JL 3.6 only takes 5qts as opposed to the 6qts in the JK, but the fact that at one point many were screwing that up is enough for me to keep their lube techs away from my jeep. Oil changes in them are easy enough anyway.

How much did it cost to ship over from the mainland, out of pure curiosity?

$1,700 mainland to Hawaii
$1,300 Hawaii to Mainland because more ppl are moving to Hawaii.

I was planning on shipping it back to mainland in the summer, but I can sell it here for more than I paid and I need a factory front camera, so I'll probably sell it and get a new one on the mainland. That will save me the $1,300 return shipping.

We all got that deal I think, but I won't ever use mine either. Too much hassle to take it to the dealer and go get it later. Plus I know it was done right if I do it myself and it's not that hard on the Jeep.
