Jeep vs not a Jeep

So a simple question....when does a Jeep become not a Jeep? Not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers but some Jeeps have been modified so far beyond the original...when is too much? Is too much possible? Just interested in a possible dumb debate!

I've heard the term Juggy used to describe a vehicle that is completely custom/aftermarket but has the Jeep body on its frame.

In my opinion, it's a Jeep until it's modified to the point where it's no longer on road legal.

I say it is when you remove the badge.

It needs to be a Wrangler 2dr, and have an original manufacturer's vin number attached. Anything else is a custom "something" with Jeep "highlights".

Kind of like a beach brah's frosted tips - he is not really a blonde, y'all.

Sure, your vehicle can have a Jeep badge, but the original concept, styling, and capabilities that brought everyone the word "Jeep" belongs to the 2dr Wrangler.

For me, it kind of loses being a Jeep once it loses that iconic look. It's hard to define that line. To paraphrase Justice Stewart, "I can't define when it ceases to be a Jeep, but I know it when I see it."
