Jeep top lifts

Trying to install hand crank to lift the hard top but I am having a hard time with the straps. Do not want to spend $600 on the Lange original. Any advice as to what type of straps I can use? Ratchet straps haven't worked. Does anybody know what straps are uses with the land original cart one?

Yeah it is a pain in the ass. Sorry to say the obvious this is my 4th Wrangler and 2nd unlimited and the top is just a pain in the ass. Just saying
