My insurance guy said to keep all invoices, prices, and photos and send him copies. Some policies will actually include and pay for mods or add-on equipment.Looks like fun. *Sarcasm*
Glad you're okay. Make sure you take off all your mods before they take your totaled vehicle.
Sucks you got to start from scratch, so cool you're getting a Rubicon in the process. You'll have to let us know how you like that new dash?!![]()
When I totaled our not-that-old WJ years ago - it was loaded with accessories, running boards and more. I got paid way above KBB price with some added for the accessories. Yes, he saw them and said he included more $$ due to the accessories I added.
Always check the policy before stripping a vehicle. If an adjuster has seen it - they may not like it being stripped.
Trim rings and other things are part of the salvage value. If they see photos with them on, and they are later missing, they may not be too keen on that.
It all varies with company and actual policy. Certain things like my added steel bumper, power steps and so on, will be covered in event of a total loss.
