I used a 15% off coupon and purchased the Jeep branded roof rack. Turns out there is no place to put the rack on the roof that won't interfere with the XM radio. Why didn't Jeep say that in their marketing info? I like the XM but I also like the rack. Guess I can't have both. I can't help but feel cheated by not being told about this up front. Jeep Cares??

Well you helped me make a decision on adding the Mopar roof rack if that’s the one you got, I am curious as to how it would interfere.

I took my JL in to the dealer to have the reception checked. Tech said first thing on the Jeep instructions was to remove any obstructions over the passenger side middle roll bar. I had assumed (yeah, I know) the Mopar rack would have been tested and approved. I was wrong. Removed the rack and reception still isn't perfect, but it has gone to livable. I was told it blocks the XM antenna.
