I really hate my 2022 Wrangler Remote.
1. too big
2. too heavy
3. terrible shape
4. weighs my pants down, my pants are falling off.
5. already put a hole in my two front pockets, I need to reinforce my pockets.
6. That darn key pops out and pokes my ( you know what )

My 2020 Winnebago Horizon Motorhome Remote is 1/2 the size and weighs 1/3 as much.
Does all the same things.

My 2004 Liberty Remote did all the same stuff too, even smaller.
My 2017 Honda Pilot Remote is perfect, does all the same

Fortunately, its easy to fix! Lots of remote options that eliminate the characteristics you donā€˜t like.

This one is AJT design ā€” lots of colors too.

My question: What idiot bought it and now complains over it? I can't imagine that you didn't see the remote when you test drove the vehicle. If you didn't like the remote, why buy the vehicle?

This has been debated here since 2018. Some folks simply place a rubber band around it and the key stays in place. Some folks buy a leather case for it from Gibson leather which to me is the way to go.

If we took a poll, I bet you'd find that only the inventor really likes it!

do you have a link to Gibson Leather?
no, I did not test drive my wrangler.
I bought it over the phone 6 hours away.
I never thought of the remote until they handed it to me.
first thought was, heck!!! Sometimes you put up with the negatives just to have a Jeep

What about buying a belt? That would certainly help with a couple of your complaints. Maybe tighter panties and learn to tuck? That might solve the poking issue?

I carry the fob in my boot, next to my switchblade. Works great until you need to grab the switchblade and grab the key instead...damn.

I put the black gorilla tape over the key slot opening. I only use the key for the locking gas cap and it works well.

There are a lot of cheap alternative covers either leather or silicone on AliExpress.

I bought a smaller remote, size of a penny. Only cost me a penny too. It doesn't do anything, like unlock the doors, but it sits in my pocket. Can't even buy penny candy with it anymore due to inflation, but it's small, round and has a picture of a dead president. You might see if you can trade your remote for a penny. Won't poke and not too heavy.

Think the fob looks nice enough, but don't understand why most fobs are so damn large these days. My decade-old car has lock/unlock, trunk release and panic all in the size of a slightly oversized key. Fobs really don't need to be much bigger than that imo.

When I was studying automotivology, and it was a long time ago, the FOB was just being discussed as a theoretical means for connecting the owner with the vehicle, very Elon Musk-like. Anyway, the discussion, when boiled down to its essential self was the FOB could serve as a F'in', Oversized, Bloat. Hence the term FOB was born. It is a bloat without function.
