Is the 5th wheel rim with no tire a THING? I saw one the other day and was confused as shit for a half hour afterwards. I could NOT figure out why they only changed their tire and kept the rim on the back. LOL - what a knucklehead (me and the other Jeep driver).

3.0 Diesel all the way... I can out-pull, out-wheel, out-economy, out-anything any jeep, even the 392 (), with the diesel - all other items such as clearance being equal. That torque and that torque curve just can't be beat.

Yeah, the prices lately have been painful, although there was a point during the pandemic when I was filling my diesel truck at a buck a gallon less than gasoline.

Tell me about it. When I bought my Jeep Wrangler back in March 2021. The first dealer was like "There is no price negotiations on Wranglers, we get sticker + dealer fee +++". Needless to say, he didn't sell me a Jeep.

Hardtop vs Soft top

Team soft top all day. If I wanted a fully enclosed SUV I would have bought a Q5.

Although the Sky One Touch makes a compelling argument.

I didn't realize a Q5 was made for offroading or that you could remove the top from one.

You can offroad and remove the top of any vehicle, usually just once. I've beat my 2002 Civic up pretty good in the backcountry of the smokies, but I've bought a few LCAs, bearings, and ball joints.

For those that “don’t get the wave thing”, I assume you’re relatively new to jeeps (I.e. Wranglers Riders).
If you ever drove a CJ, you’d recall driving down the road madly wiping your windshield from the inside in all sorts of weather so you could see out a 6” diameter clear spot.
….. and that’s how the Jeep Wave started.
