The videos wouldn't play for me (I guess because I don't have facebook?) so I had to go hunting for his youtube channel. I'm glad I did, because this guy has a ton of videos and he's hilarious. I'd start a Jeep club in his area just to invite him to the BBQ and listen to his thoughts on life, the universe, and everything.

Thanks for posting this!

Our local Jeep club does so much stuff you can't possibly do it all. They do BBQs, almost weekly wheeling trips and camping trips, Bonfires, work on each others Jeeps, plan out of state wheeling trips, have euchre ornaments, meets at local restaurants, jeep parades, meets at local ice cream places, do fund raisers and just generally enjoy each others company. They are always helpful. If you were to post hey, I need help doing something to your Jeep, you would probably have 5+ people respond to help at least with others saying if you need me give me a call as 5 should be able to handle it. They open their homes up for house parties. Some of the biggest problems that we have is if you post a day of Jeeping, you may have to limit the participation because you will get 50+ jeeps showing up if you don't. There is always people that will volunteer to take new jeepers out on the trail. Then talk about trail runs. Everyone brings a ton of food and everyone shares stuff. Then sharing..... need a tool or help out on the trail, people are stepping forward. Heck we had one guy get a flat on a 40 inch tire that was not repairable and no spare, before you know it people are pulling thier 37 spares off and he is running 37s for the day so he can wheel.

And that is why jeep people are so cool. Buying a Jeep is like getting 500 new friends.
Bro I guess I have to move to Michigan

Just know that the wheeling in Michigan is primarily flat sandy trails and not very challenging. I would imagion the trails in Penn. are much more fun. You could wheel 90% of our trails with a 1984 Ford Escort on bald tires......

But the Lansing Area Jeep Club is cool. Low drama and great people.

Maybe us Ohioans will have to meet up somewhere and make that happen.

Hmmm, not sure why it wouldn't play, I don't have FB either. Although I view the forum on a desktop no mobile device. Maybe that's it?

Wish it was like that here "Dead" or just very not in he know. Last year I saw a bunch of jeeps driving on the highway near me. I thought it was hilarious because they even had little Toyota Corolas and Honda Civics with them who had also taken off their doors.

OMG I love this video about Jeep People, and it is SOOO true. This is my absolute favorite about the Jeep Wave; many of you have seen it I'm sure, but for anyone who has not...it's a must!!

This video is awesome! He explains it very well but made me laugh! Funny thing is, I rarely let my husband drive my Wrangler because he, too, thinks the wave is dumb. He just does not get it. The few times he has driven my Wrangler and did not wave when an oncoming Wrangler waved, hell if I didn’t wave from the passenger side. That is a big no no and exactly why the hell he doesn’t drive my Wrangler!:jk:

It would be awesome to have a Jeep meet post COVID. I had all kinds of plans to do some fun stuff this summer but the rona has other ideas.
We will get through it though. Doing some trails with a group would be fun.

Yup, he gets it.

Oh, and BTW, yes I've had a BBQ with some Jeeple. Ya'll are doing it wrong if you haven't had a gathering, barbecued some chicken, steamed some corn and tossed a few potatoes in the coals (wrapped in foil of course so they're edible). That's my kind of Jeeping. None of this rock crawling business, just some easy trails to a good spot to enjoy the view and barbecue. Josh knows, and he didn't even have a Jeep yet. Legend.
Oh PFFFFTTTT!!! You are just lazy and wanting reason to eat!!

LOL, I do love to eat. Certainly when we're talking barbecue chicken, potatoes and corn bread. Mmmmm, top it off with tea and some pie for desert and I'll be more than happy to guard the camp while everyone else wheels. No guarantees that the food will still be there when you get back though.
