Dont' know about you, but if it hits the fan here I'm taking the JLU deep wheeling into the woods with some hard core camping equipment. Anyone coming within 200 feet of our camp will be met with extreme prejudice.l. Cant think of a better bug-out vehicle for this crisis.
Lions, tigers, and bears OH MY. Great the fear hysteria machine has arrived here, was hoping this would stay away. With the mix of tough talk yeah too funny.

I have a lot of concern about the Corona virus because I'm in the most vulnerable group. In my 70s, bad heart... For that reason I've switched from Corona to Modelo. I know it all comes out of Cervezeria Modelo, so if it continues to get worse I'll have to go with Jack. (not doing that bud stuff, at least not the liquid kind).

Ouch! I feel it. I probably lost 150k this week. Read some news about the C-19 virus affecting Italy more than any other European country. No Italy for us this year.
You haven’t lost anything unless you panic and sell.

You basically have a better chance of winning the lottery than dying from this virus. The mask wearing has been the funniest for me...people wearing them under their chin, or with their nose not covered, buying one just to hold it, pulling it down when talking to you...things are useless anyway LOL

Well, as I mentioned earlier, COVID-19 is for real & the flu has been no joke this season either. Fortunately for most of us on this forum, we live in the USA. A lot of reason for the "high" death tolls in these pandemic & epidemic illnesses, is due to the healthcare in certain countries of the world. What I mean by this is those countries either don't have good medical facilities & healthcare in general, or the government of that country gets to tell who gets to survive & who doesn't. Take the dictatorships, communist, & most socialist countries out there, their government decides who gets the healthcare & who doesn't. So, you see those countries are holding the healthcare only for their elite. So, you're always going to see higher death tolls in those countries. Just like the under developed countries, they are going to have high death tolls. So, there is a lot to be extrapolated from the numbers.

My advice at this point is, if you are worried about Corona Virus, go get you an N95 mask for each person in your family, while you still can. They are flying off the shelves & hospitals & EMS agencies are buying them up to surplus for their personnel. Then just be careful, use some common sense, & you & your family should be just fine.

Don't get caught up in the sensationalism of the news media & don't get hung up on the numbers. Play it smart & we will all be fine.

My 2 cents of being involved in the medical field for over 26 years & being in my current "job" position.
I went to the emergency room and was told I have the corona virus. I hope to get a more severe case in a few minutes.

thanks for the picture now I have to go to confession :)

Earth Roamer would be a better vehicle but not at $300,000

Also we were planning a trip to Japan in August to see our son. Then last night I read that Japan is thinking about cancelling the Olympics if they don't have a better handle on the corona virus by May. I am very hesitant to slap down over two grand in airfare right now. Japan is at a Level 2 from CDC for travel right now.
We've got employees in Japan and it's on lock down. You probably want to rethink your trip until we see if it burns out and clears up.

Lots more deaths from the flu because there are lots more people coming down with it.

Flu's mortality rate is about .1%.

COVID-19's mortality rate varies somewhat, depending on location and medical resources available, as well as other actions being taken, such as 'social distancing'. It doesn't help that Trump and his acting secretary of Homeland Security have been getting it wrong.

"There I was, in line at Walmart, backed up 20 deep, most of the self-checkers out of order. So I coughed several times, hard, and commented how bad I've been feeling since my trip to Hong Kong. Next thing I know, there was no line!"

Meanwhile ... wash yer hands, and buy more ammo, for when the zombies come pouring out of the cities, and make the best of it!
Yea! I got thousands of shots saved up for the Zombie virus,

Ironically the water shelves were empty at Sams club this morning BUT the corona shelf was fully stocked. I told the kids to suck it up because its corona from here on out, btw my youngest is 23 hahaha... Stay safe and skip the modelo I've seen enough westerns to know whiskey is the cure all....

In the United States, to prepare for a the flu or this virus, why would anyone buy bottled water? Even if you get the virus and have to self quarantine for 14 days...... ummmmm..... there is tap water.......

hurricane supplies? Sure, since the water system will likely be out and having some water on hand at the beginning of the hurricane season makes sense. COVID-19? It makes zero sense to me to be stocking 14 days of bottled water for a virus. People are crazy..... including wanting to take their Jeep into the woods.

Who knows lol, people get fixated on something and over react, remember Y2K? How many idiots actually thought their cars wouldn't start and how many stocked up on canned food?
