Jeep just updated website with HUGE price increases to the Wrangler options.

I noticed that Punk'n is now available on the configurator, but most of the options packages jumped 20-25% since last week!

Makes me glad I ordered when I did. The cost of my build has gone up $3535 since July.
This is the option hike on just the Sport S trim:

Advanced Safety: $945 to $1195
Cold Weather Group: $1195 to $1095 (weird)
Safety Group: $1145 to $1395
LED Lights: $1295 to $1495
Convenience Group: $795 to $995
Sun and Sound Package: $4290 to $5395
Trailer Tow HD Electrical: $995 to $1195

They are constantly supply constrained on the safety groups. I haven't seen anything on a dealer lot with them and adding them to my order turned it in to a 5 month wait. I'm surprised they didn't hike the price higher on those.

Seems almost like new Jeep price hikes are happening quarterly now. Used to be annually back in pre-stupidity days.

The LED lights going up to $1495 is the biggest rip in my opinion- should be standard. That and the convenience group, seriously.

Cost of parts, labor, and doing business. Basically saying to the average Jeep buyer, “Come on buddy, how bad do you want it?!”

Rubicon LED's went up to $1795.

Yup. 6 options went up from last month in my build. This is the online builder for a 2 door Rubicon in Austin TX. The same options for your model in your area could have a different price.

These prices have been in place since December 9th, but the website is slow to update. My build went up $700 between ordering and delivery (11/7 - 12/21); thankfully I was price protected, but the window sticker reflects all the same prices as above.

Wow... I just did my same build and it is at 68k and when I built mine in 2021 it was like 59k. NO way would I want to pay that much now.

One thing I did notice is you can just buy the lower half doors now. At least on at the 4 door.

Huh, I guess Jeep doesn't consider the Bronco much of a threat yet to be raising prices like that.

If Ford can ever deliver Broncos in quantity then those prices may come back down, or at least stop rising so fast. The Wrangler ain't the only game in town anymore for a lot of folks.

These prices were in effect over a month ago. The website is always behind in terms of accuracy on prices & option availability.

In September I factory ordered a Sahara 4xe with all of the technology and safety options and it arrived at my dealer in 5 weeks. (Yes weeks).

My wife's new Cherokee has a -$50 on the window sticker as they don't have the rear park sensors. I'd rather have the sensors than the $50 but it seems like it's across the board.

All of those options are about 30-50% more than what they were in 2018 when I got mine.

It's a jungle out there. My wife and I with 800+ credit score "qualified" for 6.24% interest recently. I laughed and asked who I make the check out to.

Remember when trail camera was part of the led light group… or the fact that when you get the safety group + advanced safety group you’re already getting rear led lights but add the led light package at same cost… jeep banking
