On the JL the license plate is mounted on the bumper. If you remove the spare tire you can relocate it to the center of the tail gate. This not only looks awesome it allows you to run an aftermarket bumper such as the Motobilt Crusher Series.

There is an optional one that you can add. Click the link and choose the drop down menu to pick it.
All of this is hidden except the small black rectangle piece with the 3 leds. Those act as a 3rd brake light and the tag light led's are underneath.

Do you guys make a blank plate to cover the vents, I have a tire carrier, it's ugly when open and the vents are unprotected. JCR Hasnt made one available.

What if you don’t need to relocate your plate, is there a solid design? That LED tag light is a pain if it is similar to the JCR version which has to be spliced into the rear tail light and run with third brake light wires.

Not sure if I understand the first part of your statement. We use the Off Road Only Tag light.

It takes our guys about 20 minutes to install the light kit as you do have to splice it but once its done there is a weather proof connector so you can simply un plug if you need to move or change anything.

I wasnt going to move my plate, but I would have to wire the kit up anyways for the 3rd brake light so I might as well move the plate.

I was trying to see if there was a solid plate available so there wouldn’t be a hole in the center of it.

Oh ok now I understand. No we do not have a solid version. The light kit comes with instructions but I'll look into doing a video for the install.

We painted this tag mount with some in expensive spray paint from the parts store and were able to get a cool 2 tone paint job. It was easy, cheap, and custom!
