I was one of those orders as well! :) front rear and switch protector!!
Haha, awesome!! Well, I hopefully you're happy with them. They really are beefy. Did y'all happen to see the video of the folks hammering one of our diff covers?? Pretty cool to say the least.

Any forum discount for people late to the game? Looking to order these but all the mods are killing the bottom line...

quick question. I got mine in this week and probably installing this weekend.
1. whats the best way to clean/prep the covers and bolts?
2. 2 quarts per diff correct?
3. torque spec is 25 foot pounds correct?

I am also using Lucas Oil 10048 SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Transmission and Differential Lub

Not yet I will be calling in ASAP once I get back from Crested Butte this weekend. Now I just need to find someone with a spare torque wrench...Living in an apartment keeps the tool collection small unfortunately

I understand that. The apartment life puts a damper on a lot of stuff, unfortunately.

I should be able to change the rear diff cover myself by sliding around on the ground underneath the Jeep right? The front diff cover looks like it might be impossible on the ground especially with my LoD bumper and skid plate...

Yes sir, the rear cover shouldn't be too difficult at all.

Question on painting the diff covers so they don't rust. Is there a recommended way to do this at home without going to get it powder coated? I'm thinking the final product will be black with the Motobilt logo being paint matched to red

I always suggest a few coats of self etching primer and then a few more coats of some rattle can. That way YOU can touch it up when it inevitably gets scratched up.

Does the inside of the cover need to be painted/protected?
