I wasn't expecting a "first look" at something that resembles the budget choice from a J.C. Whitney catalog.

You're not kidding. The soft top part looks horrible.

The wrinkled plastic window reminds me of years ago when I'd see that same look on my CJ5 window and wish I had a hard top.

I guess I was thinking a little too old school. If my top comes off I'm going to be removing the doors, too, and buying some of those soft half doors if they even make them. That's what I had on my CJ when I'd run the bikini top.

The divider is probably do the window doesn't get stuck between the dash and door.

Interesting.... Not sure how I feel about the look with the Hard Top. But I bet it looks killer with the Premium Soft Top.

Ya I agree the twill material looks a bit weird with the hardtop because colors are a bit different but I'm with you, on softop it must be nice, can't wait to see the first post of them, too bad they're so expensive, I never had half doors on my TJ and always wanted them, doesn't look like I'll be getting any for the JL for a while either, I got way too many upgrades to go before half doors.

They need a hard upper with siding glass like the YJ and TJs had as an aftermarket option. No one ever made those for the JK half doors as far as I know.

These people did. Just the fronts for now I believe. Not sure if they only work with their own half doors.

Those only work with their doors from what I understand. But yeah, just like those. Jeep should include those removable hard uppers with the half doors. An option would be to cover that black painted parts with cloth to match the soft top.

I actually like those but I don't see a 2 door option.

I see the appeal, but they botched the uppers and the price.
Tell me they have manual mirrors/locks and no harness...that would help.
