@REGGAVEGGA, have you tried to reverse the cables that go into each side of the CarPlay device? The USB plug from the CarPlay device that would normally go into you dash usb need to be plugged in through the female to female adapter. It’s seems backwards but it’s the only way it works. I’m unfamiliar with your device to know which wire is which but I would try switching them. Also might be worth making sure your device works. I had two of them go bad for no apparent reason in two separate cars.

So the car link 5.0 works as it should plugged into media port. I unplugged the right side cable from back of media hub and plugged that into the axxess cable into it. Other end of axxess cable to the usb port of carlink. Then the third cable usb into female usb the other end into back of media port .then the other end of car link to the usb female . It should work but it does not. Unless there are setting on phone or radio I do not know about.
