WORD THE F#@K UP !!!!
Making third row seating or fold down 2nd row seat for a sleeper cab with memory foam mattress on a JTU would be spectacular.
Your going to be able to buy that soon. Its call a Wagoneer and Jeep is building it to compete with the Suburban

Yes its going to be built on the the new 1500 frame. Its going to be body on frame.

Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer: The Wagoneer family will share a platform with the current Ram 1500, but it will push the upper boundaries of SUV luxury when it appears in mid-2019 after the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan is retooled.

The three-row Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will be body-on-frame to compete closely with the GMC Yukon Denali and Chevrolet Suburban and will share a platform with the Ram 1500 pickup.

Yes it is.
No, it’s not.

It will be body on frame, and it’s going to be built at the old 1500 plant after it’s retooled, but it’s not going to be based on the new 1500 truck platform, and not going to be a true truck base.

VS, check the date of your and what they are reading into the announcement, then check out the recent spy photos and see it they match up.

I didn't mean to say new 1500 ... just meant 1500 in general which is a truck platform.

Please Re-READ:

Also not sure if you saw this on the source link as well:

Editor's note: The Wagoneer family will share a platform with the current Ram 1500. The platform to be shared was incorrect in an earlier version of this story.

Vegas, that source is simply an amalgam of what other people reported and stuff from the forums. They don’t even quote new sources.
Again, that Wagoneer info is based on last January’s reporting from the Detroit Auto Show, not new info.

But you believe and uncited article that needed to be edited after they simply reported old news without adding anything recent.

Like I said, look at the recent Wagoneer test mules spotted in Michigan, not articles based on info from almost a year ago.

Well, without any additional info being given, I believe it would be reasonable to read "will share a platform with the Ram 1500 pickup" to mean the version of the 1500 that was in current production at the time the Wagoner was being made.

The current Wrangler now has a "Chief " edition. Just saw two of them at the local dealer in Lima, Ohio.
Sorry I didn't get a pic.
