A 2022 JLU Sport that is identical to my 2021 config is now $2.1K more expensive. The net cost of the 2.0T/850RE pairing is $500 higher, and the 7" Uconnect 4 is now standard. That leaves ~$1.4K as the cost to play this game.

Here's my view on the subject:
The price I see today for [whatever] likely won't ever be less than what it is right now.

The authenticated price increase for my Jeep is just the latest example of this self-fulfilling prophecy.

Buckle your seatbelts…inflation is just getting started; a vicious cycle of wage and supplier increases that drive a cycle of ongoing price increases that destroy buying power. Traditionally the only way out will be a painful recession. Blame COVID, excess government stimulus , the Fed, and the oil situation. If you are buying with cash…go ahead and make your purchase now…things won’t get cheaper.
