The original graphics were better. My first in 89 Pacific Blue (bone stock less than 6 months old)

Recurved leaf springs with 31's (small fender wells compared to the JL required 4" lift to fit 33's)

BTW, you can add retro Islander graphics to a JL

^^^^ Now thats pretty sweet. As Neaderthal as the YJ was compared to the TJ and JL it was still cool.........I learned to wheel in the YJ with crappy suspension articulation and open Diff's..........That's where the JKS sway bar disco's really made a difference! You also had no choice but to learn how to pick the best line's or be like a turtle on its back.

Also in the press release date 3/1, they said the Wrangler Islander is available in Chief Blue. Does that mean they are bringing back the color this year? Or just indicative that a Chief Blue Islander may exist on dealer lot?

I ordered an Islander edition recently. I wanted the proximity unlock option but, get this - you can't get it unless you pay $4,000 for this half door option. So you're buying an extra set of half doors to use a proximity key. My question is if it works on the half doors, does it work on the full doors? And why not offer it as an option without having to buy half doors? I don't have space to store an extra set of doors for a 4-door Jeep. The logic escapes me. But I do like Tiki Bob.
