I wonder what a Yeti compressor-cooled fridge would cost...nope, better not go there. It's notable, er, bad enough that one can buy/needs to buy locking cables to secure Yeti, Rtic, and similar high-end passive coolers, don't want to make things worse!

We just have to make our gear less appealing to the ne'er-do-wells. ;)

That's the best they could come up with? I'd rather just put my own sticker on. But slap JEEP on something and someone will buy it.
Yep... With our fancy lifestyle vehicles, we deserve a proper lifestyle cooler to go next our fridges. I vote Yeti and slapping a sticker on it.

The cooler is $29.95 (without Jeep stickers) on Amazon. If my math is correct, the stickers add $15.04 to the cost.

When some ice melts and the cooler rolls over, is the lid water tight?

It's all been said by others in this thread, lol.

Remember the Jeep-branded stereo? Now *that* was cool and fit with the ruggedness of the brand.

I'm not into the whole "coolers as a status symbol" thing, either. I still can't understand how Yeti got so popular - yes, they keep stuff cold for ages, but their coolers are so user-unfriendly in design. Awkwardly shaped, rough handles (if any), and no wheels on the big ones. Hell, I hate *pulling* my cooler to campsites or out to the beach. WTF wants to *carry* a fully-weighted-down cooler around?

It's not the cooler that failed, nor the sticker pack. It's the marketing department. All they really needed to do is market it as "tactical" or "overlanding edition" and it would be worth $10 MORE and sold like hotcakes.
Shoot, they could have included a ballistic nylon carrying case, $100 all day, every day.

The Ballistic Tactical Overlanding Jeep Playmate. $199.95 All Day.

...unlike the Yetis and RTICs everyone loves, the Grizzly is made in the USA.
Some Yeti products are manufactured in the USA, but you have to look carefully at the tags to confirm. The rest are made in the Philippines and China.

Igloo does have higher end product lines that would be better tuned to the Jeep enthusiast. I have a Playmate and it is a crappy cooler that is not much better than a bucket full of ice.

Yeti coolers are overpriced, and appeal to those who like to brag how much they paid for a cooler. These
People run around with Yeti stickers on everything they drive. There are other brands out there, that do just as good of a job cooling things, at a fraction of the price. I've been given a couple of Yeti products, and, yes they keep things cool, but Rtic brands do this, just as well.
I equate Yeti fanatics being about the same as GUCCI fanatics. Label obsessed, and shallow.
