the rural co-op that supplies me offers the option to buy renewably generated power...costs a small premium. They have a lot of investment in wind and solar.

I also have a photovoltaic array on the parrot rescue, rated for 9Kw. It'll pay off the upfront cost over about 10 years.

I'm curious. Does this system supply enough electricity for your needs? Also, what about after dark. Does it store any energy for those times?

Are they open later now?
Yes. For a bit now most have returned to normal operating hours. Just have to wear a mask and what not now like most areas

Nice! A lot of people have panels on the roof or the farmers will have a pedestal mount array that follows the sun. You still pay for power as normal here but the power you generate off the panels they buy from you

That's good. I'd hate to be limited on when I could go. Especially if you have a sudden need for a missing ingredient.

Thought about it, I still need seat belts and a roof
I believe the high today is going to be a balmy 25 degrees âť„âť„âť„
You don't 'need' seatbelts or a roof to tear up your driveway. Let 'er rip and record it, some of us (me) want to live vicariously through you.
