While the torque sounds nice, these things keep me from swapping:

1. Past issue with FCA DEF tank crystallization.
2. Added weight and off-roading in the southeast means mud.
3. Only about half of the gas stations in the US have diesel.
1) I have not heard that
2) added weight is only a few percent
3) diesel is readily available and cheap where I live

I have done that from the Griffith Observatory. It was a cool day. Got back to the Griffith Observatory just before sunset.

I be afraid to get the 4xe they can’t even fix my battery problem I have now.
I don't think the battery itself is your issue. Unless they're just not changing batteries and telling you they are.

I made a discovery this morning that possibly Stephano @Sadragna already knows...only because his Start/Stop Warning light has been on FOREVER...

Did you know...that you cannot use your cruise control when your Start/Stop Warning Light is lit?

Yeah, I didn't until this morning. I guess my battery was a little low this morning and my S/S light came on, didn't think anything about it until I got on the highway and went to set cruise...yeah...nope...wouldn't engage. It would turn on, but it wouldn't catch. Pulled off the highway and into a gas station, turned the Jeep off, let it power completely down, started it back up, and everything was fine. Cruise worked again when I got back on the highway.

Good morning.

Honestly, I doubt the dealership is charging the batteries at all prior to install given that they have a history of very shoddy work. :swear:

This is possible... swapping out for a drained battery and saying its good.

Maybe our Jeeps currently (no pun intended) don't have an adequate charging system? When my warranty no longer applies I plan to go with a full two battery system and get rid of that power wheels battery. I only have 8 thousand miles on mine and have yet to have the issue but we all know its coming, eventually...

Mine seems to be doing fine since I got the new battery. I don't even have the upgraded alternator either.
