Before conclusions are jumped to, it is apparent that a truck that is not the tow vehicle is in one of the pictures, also very messed up. Giving the benefit of the doubt, it can be thought that one scenario is that extra pickup truck caused this traffic collision.

Exactly, tow rig looks to be a Ram3500 dually. Truck in the smashed up pictures is a Chevrolet
