I reply with "Have a great weekend/4th!"

8:25AM he sends this email...
"Steve, there’s a nice 4-hour meeting to kick off the next phase of Vanguard ES. Didn’t want to bore you with the whole invitation, but if there’s a need for you in one of the breakout sessions I’ll ping you (those are scheduled to start at noon, of course). Thanks!"

Note: "Breakout session" is corporate-speak for "We're going to schedule an unnecessarily long meeting and waste a whole bunch of peoples' time in it"

Is is just me or are there buttons that just stop working on the forums now?

They only work for me when I scroll, and put them in certain parts of my phone and/or tablet screen. I thought it was just my phone at first. Then the 2in1 started doing too.

So, turns out 1 and 2 year old boys is complete chaos with few quiet moments with electronic devices.

So, Jett (Chris's gf's younger kid. 6 years old) asked me twice now, why I have hair under my arms, and on my stomach. I told him him it was something that happened when you got older, and to ask his mother. Her response was that when he got older, say around 10-12 he could ask Chris, or me again, and we'd explain then.
Apparently his dad has refused, because he gets too uncomfortable, and she doesn't think she can explain at accurately as a guy can.
When the hell did I sign up for that?!!
Chris, in time, I could understand. He's the prospective step-dad. How do I have a monkey in this circus?? I'm not even going to be around them much once I move.
I don't care how much the kids like me, I don't think she needs to put that off on anyone other than herself or their dads.

I just take issue with people who shirk parental responsibilities. Especially for piddly reasons like, "Talking about sex in any serious manner makes me uncomfortable".
You have a living human, who's entire outlook, and future views are dependent on you. Ask for help if you need it, but deny them basic information about the world, or their bodies, just cause you don't like saying words like, penis and vagina, in a non joking manner.
