When I was an 11 or 12 I had a paper delivery route that I had to get up for at like 5-5:30 AM to make the deliveries. I distinctly recall one episode where I'd gotten up at that hour and delivered the papers and by afternoon I was so tired I fell asleep for a few hours. I woke up at 5:30 PM and looked at the clock and thought "it's time to get up to deliver the papers." It wasn't until I was dressed and went out to the curb to find NO papers waiting that I realized it was PM and not AM.
