Ok, I grew up in a pretty rural part of Illinois (town had less than 2,000 and my dad's bar is in an area of less than 400 people) but what the hell is porcupine balls. Now, mash taters...mmm that is some good shit.

I'd argue that, if you have to put a wrench on the screwdriver to get the screw loose, especially a Phillips-head, you're going to round out the head. I'd drop back to one of those gizmos that you strike with a hammer.

I was looking into them last week and decided to go with a "professional" clipper style with a guard. I doubt my hell hounds would tolerate the grinders noise after looking at them. The current clippers, with a guard, tend to let the spring fly when I need it not to do so...

Must use the cone of shame or one of its variants (and a crate depending on the circumstances). Been down this road many times and they cant be trusted...They meaning themselves, their companions, or their owners (oh we'll just keep an eye on them). In my experience its usually 14 days, mine usually bash the cone well before that and look more like a gorilla tape knight before we get there. Not doing so leads to another surgery and infection.
