I'd argue that, if you have to put a wrench on the screwdriver to get the screw loose, especially a Phillips-head, you're going to round out the head. I'd drop back to one of those gizmos that you strike with a hammer.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. I know I have no problem stripping a screw head. I sure don’t need a wrench to help!!

Got my Topsy bits and was all ready to setup the Lange lift when I found I don't have a long enough bolt to hook up the cross bar to the lift.

yeah, I'm always happy to find torx, etorx or hex cap fasteners on vehicles, rather than regular slotted or phillips-head.

At least a couple Jeep parts projects (LOD signature sliders for instance), where you're supposed to get all the hardware with the part, have resulted in a bolt-fetching trip to HD.

Made it to town and back, and surprised mom n em with ice cream for dessert.
