Ah you are right. Was looking for a cheaper one with RCA's and not a lot of that in blu ray and up.

I still have a box of "Monster Cable RCA's" that I really need to let go of too.

Fun aint it? I've taken the ride 5 or 6 times now in mine, haven't done the recall; tire pressure also seems to play a role. But I think the common denominator has been one of the fronts hitting a hole at a certain speed and away we go...

Exactly! It actually happened twice and both times I feel was induced by a pothole or road flaw. Both at about 75 mph on the highway. The rental is a 19 with 20k on it. Never had it in mine luckily.

I have a Samsung and it wouldn’t play the last disc I rented from Redbox. It will no longer update its firmware either. So sticking to online rentals. Also gets me 4K content.

If you have to buy, I recommend Sony. Some even have RCA output

I just let off the gas, hold her straight, and enjoy the ride. The last time it happened, this Cherokee load of "kids" saw it happen and were pretty impressed. We exchanged devil horns during the DW as we continued South on the hwy.

I guarantee that a used one will work better than the one you aint got. But I'm with you, it would be a last resort for me. Blu ray seems to be the line where RCA jacks were laid to rest, so it may indeed be a last resort...
