Wow. Scary. I just did the numbers on my place. 6 BR Arts and Crafts on 10 acres, with timber, neighbors 1/2 mile away. Bought it in 1990 for $16 per sq ft.

Of course, it's 1500 miles to the beach, and the weather frequently sucks. And they dont deliver pizza out here.

Ah, well, tradeoffs, right?

I've been to Mt. Pleasant, IA it's pretty out there. I miss parts of the Mid West at times. I spent summers a little further south of you near Palmyra, MO

Small World. We would go to West Quincy every year to buy fireworks. I remember the flood back in, 92' I think, that destroyed it too.

Local "dealer" selling a sport with a Rubicon hood. Callin it a Rubicon. It's also a salvage/rebuilt, and he's asking 32k for it.
Sad part is he'll get it too.
